Aims and scope
Médecine Buccale Chirurgie Buccale (MBCB) / Journal of Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery is a journal of oral medicine and oral surgery published by the French society of oral surgery SFCO.
It is a scientific publication with its own editorial board, scientific committee and independent reading committee. It is dedicated to the study and treatment of diseases of the oral cavity and its adnexa. It promotes the dissemination of scientific data and technological advances of interest in oral medicine and oral surgery, provided by the latest research and literature. The MBCB journal wants to establish a complementary training database for non-specialists, and to contribute to the further training of specialists in oral surgery and medicine.
The articles published, in either French or English, consist mainly of original articles reporting the results of clinical and experimental research work, letters to the editor, review papers and case studies. Hence, there are different types of article:
- original articles
- letters to the editor
- literature reviews
- clinical trials of a diagnostic and therapeutic nature
- epidemiological studies and investigations
- additional investigations
- clinical observations
- technical notes
- good practice recommendations
Médecine Buccale Chirurgie Buccale only publishes articles whose authors comply with the ethical rules and national legislation governing biomedical studies and animal experiments.
